A laneway celebration about food, beer and barbeque
Brisbane's historic Regatta Hotel ('The Gat' to those in the know) has become known in recent years for its fun festival venue - a loading zone embellished with laneway ambience. You can come and find out what all the fuss is about at its annual celebration of the country, at Regatta Fair, running from Friday 3 August to Sunday 5 August 2018.
This festival is all about food, beer and wine, with an emphasis on local produce, celebrated with food stalls serving simple, hearty fare at the forefront. The menu boasts sure-fire winter winners such as Cheesy Garlic Loaded Cobb Loaf, Rustic Apple Berry Country Crumble, Loaded Pork Idaho Potatoes, Barbeque Street Corn and Charcoal Chicken.
With free entry, guests will purchase food and wine, beer, cider and sparkling through a cash bar. Everything kicks off at 4pm on Friday, with weekend action running from 12 noon until late on both Saturday and Sunday.
Celebrate International Beer Day with a wide range of craft beer available out in the Laneway.
