This year,
Refugee Week, focuses on the strength of families and their resilience. It is an important time for the community to come together in unity.
Come and join
Refugee Week Community Celebration at
Auburn Centre for Community, 44A Macquarie Road, Auburn, on
Monday, 17 June 2024, starting at 10 am to 1 pm. There will be gardening activities, children's crafts, a special story time with Poppy the Possum, music and dancing and poetry on display.
Connect with local services and community organisations, such as
Asylum Seeker Centre, Carer Gateway Benevolent Society, Freedom Hub, Goods 360, NSW Police and Multicultural Liaison Officers, Odyssey House, Oz Harvest, RACS (Refugee Advice Casework Services), Services Australia, TAFE NSW, Western Sydney Local Health District and more. They will provide information, support and referrals. Please stay for the
FREE community lunch. Everyone is welcome.
