If you have a love for artwork that depicts ferns, fungi, lichen, insects, butterflies, marine life, pond life, shells, birds, fossils, amphibians as well as botanical subjects, have a look at art works from over 130 artists at the ReFraming Nature Art Exhibition.
It runs from 21 Sep to 6 Oct 2019 from 10am to 4pm each day, and is held at Domain House Gallery, Dallas Brooks Drive, Melbourne (behind the Shrine of Remembrance).
This is a FREE event, however, a gold coin donation would be most appreciated as it helps with the fundraising efforts. All framed works are for sale as well as artists cards, unframed originals and prints.
All the artwork exhibited aim to be as scientifically accurate as possible, while giving the artist leeway to express themselves creatively, with their individuality on display. There'll be two gallery rooms of larger works, plus a room of miniatures with small artworks A5 or smaller in size. The miniatures are a great opportunity for the public to buy original artwork that won't send you poor. There's something for everyone, so feast your eyes and your soul on some great artwork with the opportunity to buy originals.
