The Redlands Rockabilly Revival is returning for the second year in a row on Sunday March 12, 2017 to the Cleveland Showgrounds.

Proving a popular event last year due to its appeal to a wide demographic including families, car enthusiasts, and music fans, it also provided an opportunity for dancing, dress-ups, and a genuinely fun day out.
Live bands will be playing throughout the day. The show schedule is as follows: 10:00 am DJ Leapin Lawrie 10:45 am The Haymakers 11:50 am Little Billy
12:55 pm Lovejoy Surf 2:30 pm The Hi Boys 3:50 pm A Band Called Twang
4:35 pm DJ Leapin Lawrie
5:00pm Show close
A huge part of the rockabilly culture is the fashion, and this event promises to be a great excuse for the gals to dress up in their finery accordingly. I love those skirts that swirl, don't you? The Pinup Parade will also be returning for 2017. Loved by people of all ages, the glamorous parade will see 15 pinup finalists strut their stuff on stage and go in the running for some fun prize packs.
Swirly dresses and skirts
There will also be over one hundred specialist market stalls with all types of tempting goodies. The event will feature hairdressers and hair stylists, barbers, rockabilly clothing, western style clothing, make up and accessories, vintage wares, handbags, stickers, tshirts, household goods for the 1950s collector, magazines, kids wear and heaps more! If you don't own a dress that swirls, this might be just the place to buy one!
Food? Of course, there will be a huge array of foods for purchase. The event is licensed so no BYO into the Showgrounds, although you are welcome to bring a picnic along.
