Looking for a weekend activity that will suit the whole family and does not include a Bunnings sausage? The Redlands Model Railway Club will be exhibiting a range of model trains of all shapes and sizes with a total of twenty different displays at their annual show. The different layouts are sure to be a hit with model train enthusiasts, people who grew up watching Gomez blow up trains on The Adams Family, and those of us who always wanted a model train set as a child but were gifted new school shoes instead.

The starts on Saturday, August 27th (from 9 am to 5 pm) and Sunday, August 28th ( from 9 am to 4 pm) at the Cleveland Assembly Hall, 44 Smith Street, Cleveland.



Entry fees for Adults $10, Concession $5, Children $2, and under school age children free. Entry Fee for a Family $20 (2 adults, 2 children same household).

But wait, there is more! Much more exciting than a set of steak knives, paid entry fees to the Model Train Show also include entry to the Redland Museum, which is located right next door. There is no need to even move the car.



Entry to the Redland Museum must be on the same day and includes exhibits to enthral all ages, including the Little People. The Redland Museum has been collecting and preserving the social history of the local area from the 1800s to the present day.

Both the Cleveland Assembly Hall and Redland Museum are wheelchair friendly.
