The month of March at RPAC: Redland Performing Arts Centre, is packed full of live performances and there is something for everyone.
Studio Ghibli Summer Film Festival
If you love anime films then this is for you. The Japanese film studio,
Studio Ghibli, has a reputation for being the Disney of the East. RPAC is presenting three of its films in the RPAC Auditorium on Saturday 15th March.
My Neighbor Totoro is the first film of the day, showing at 10am. This award-winning fantasy film about friendship is suitable for all ages and has a running time of 86 minutes.
Next, is award-winning film
Kiki's Delivery Service . Starting at 1pm this magical film is about a witch in training. It's suitable for all the family and has a running time of 102 minutes.
The final film grossed over $274 million dollars worldwide and won an Oscar in 2002.
Spirited Away is PG – Parental Guidance Recommended, with a running time of 102 minutes and starts at 4pm. This is anime film is a must see.

For the Term of his Natural Life
This Australian story, based on Marcus Clarke's novel, will give you a new perspective on Australia's convict history. With an original score composed and performed live by local musician Colin Offord, you're in for a treat. Calendar Girls
Do you remember the 2003 hit movie
Calendar Girls? Well get ready for an evening of laughter and fun at RPAC.
Calendar Girls is showing for one night only on Sunday 23rd March. Written by Tim Firth who also co-wrote the movie, this is sure to be a memorable night. The play is based on the true story of a group of women in England who pose nude for a calendar to raise money for the Leukaemia Research Fund. Their intention to raise some money for a cause close to their hearts, leads them to national fame and their journey is full of laugh out loud moments.

Southern Cross Soloists – Shakespeare's Seductions
Inspired by the works of William Shakespeare, tenor Alexander Lewis with the Queensland Shakespeare Ensemble, come together for an evening of music.
