Hands up all Bookaholics
Do you know the difference between a bookworm and a bibliophile? A bookworm loves reading books whilst a bibliophile loves books or collecting books.

Regardless which umbrella you sit under there are several free events featuring Australian authors discussing their works scheduled around various Redlands Libraries in coming weeks. Grab your diary and insert these dates:

Nick Earls
Thursday, 24th October at Capalaba Library commencing at 6pm.

Dr Alex Hynes

Fiona McIntosh
Thursday, 14th November at Victoria Point Library commencing at 9am.

My experience with these Author-In-Action presentations has always been positive. I rarely use the occasion to purchase any of the books discussed though I'm thinking a signed Fiona McIntosh novel as a Christmas gift might score me some points with the mother-in-law.

Although they are all FREE events bookings are essential.

Below are the locations of the libraries involved:

Cleveland Library
Cnr of Middle and Bloomfield Streets, Cleveland

14 Noeleen Street, Capalaba

Victoria Point Library
7 - 15 Bunker Road, Victoria Point

I would have to say that I am both a bookworm and a bibliophile.
