Redland City Bands, in conjunction with the Redland City Council, are having a one-off evening of music and fun to raise funds for Drought Angels.

Who are Drought Angels?

Drought Angels is a registered Not For Profit Charity dedicated to supporting Australian Farmers through the drought. They rely solely on public and corporate donations to assist farming families & rural communities and do not receive any government funding. Founded in 2014, "through direct personal contact with the farmers, Drought Angels have earnt a reputation for providing personalised, heartfelt and discreet assistance."

The organisation, based in Chinchilla Qld, helps those who would not normally reach out but prefer to battle it alone. For more information see here.

So diarise Friday, 19th of October for an evening of both community and entertainment, with all three Concert bands performing on the night.

Tickets are available from Redland Performing Arts Centre at 2-16 Middle Street, Cleveland, or online here.

Tickets prices:
Adults $25.00
Seniors/Pensioners $25.00
Students/Children $15.00

There will be a sausage sizzle on the Piazza of RPAC from 6.30 pm, with the concert beginning at 7.30 pm and an anticipated finishing time of 22.30 pm.

Off street parking is available and RPAC is a five-minute walk from the Cleveland Railway Station.
