On Good Friday, 3 April 2015, head beachside to Redcliffe to celebrate all things Easter and watch the Brisbane to Gladstone yachts sail on by.

The at Suttons Beach is a free festival which centres around watching the Brisbane to Gladstone yachts go past and is much loved by families. The Easter Bunny will be making an appearance and there will also be an Easter egg hunt on the beach for the kids.

The festival features over 150 quality art, craft, handmade and unique market stalls to keep visitors busy.

This is one if the biggest festivals in the shire annually and it's jam packed with lots of activities for kids and adults. Alongside the fantastic range of market stalls, there's food vendors galore, live music, kids activities, a seaside carnival and beach activities.

The council works alongside the organisers of the Brisbane to Gladstone Yacht Race to provide the best vantage points to view the race as the colourful yachts head around the peninsula - providing a spectacular backdrop to your day at Suttons Beach.

The has two stages to set the mood of the day. The northern stage (closest to Sails Restaurant) features everything from jazz & blues to indie rock and reggae grooves. Whilst the southern stage (closest to the Marine Parade roundabout) is a dedicated kids stage with non-stop children's entertainment, bursting with colour and plenty of sing-a-longs for young bubs.

Musicians and buskers move around the festival to ensure everyone keeps their groove going.

Down on the beach it's ships ahoy! for the Seaside Carnival. Lots of nautical activities for the kids, amusement rides and stalls pirating their wares. The themed activities will keep the kids happy while mums and dads watch the Brisbane to Gladstone yachts sail past. There are also plenty of crafts and workshops for the kids to ensure a fun filled day out.

The is at Suttons Beach Redcliffe on Good Friday, 3 April 2015. Entry is free but some activities have a small cost, and the day's fun runs from 9am to 4pm.

For details of how to get there, including free shuttle bus, public transport, walking/cycling and driving, see the official website .
