The biggest event celebration to hit Moreton Bay Region is back for 2016 with three weekends of events starting on the 27 August until the 11 September 2016. A dynamic programme of free and ticketed family-friendly events, superb musical entertainment, the biggest fireworks display in the Moreton Bay Region and the Ultimate Kids Weekend at KiteFest 2016, all being held at various locations throughout the Redcliffe Peninsula.
Colour, fun and exhilaration will sweep you off your feet with kites of all shapes and sizes filling the sky. Redcliffe KiteFest 2016 is the Ultimate Kids Weekend! This year is promising to be the best year ever for the KiteFest with international and local kite flyers coming together in Pelican Park. KiteFest Kidz is back with an enormous variety of free activities. See the Minions and Marvel LIVE on stage; the astounding Bubble Nation and famed Fizzics science show; kite making workshops; aerobatic displays; water shows and the most carnival rides Redcliffe KiteFest has ever seen!

This is a brand new addition to the Redcliffe Festival programme. On Saturday 3 September 2016 the world-famous Bee Gees Way will be converted into a unique dining experience. Local restaurants, Reef Point Cafe, Pines Bar and Restaurant and The Italian Emporium are each serving a course in a three-course lavish dinner set to a 1970's theme. The evening will feature an entertainment and basic drinks package. This is going to be a night to remember!

Scarborough Sounds is back for 2016, bringing an incredible programme of exceptional musical talent. On Father's Day 4 September 2016 spoil Dad and Grand Dad by spending the afternoon in sensational surrounds at the Scarborough seaside with an astounding programme of world-class music.
The Scarborough Sounds stage is playing host to Hot Potato Band, Thomas Armstrong-Robley & Suited to You; Parasol featuring Franky Smart; and Soulstice.
This event is free to attend, but please bring a blanket or chair to get comfy for an afternoon of family-friendly entertainment and enjoy the surrounding ambience.

Redcliffe Parade will come alive on Saturday 10 September for this years Jetty Fiesta - Tropicale. A free event for the whole family with breathtaking light displays, Island-inspired acts, performances on the beach, fire-twirling and the largest fireworks display the Moreton Bay Region has ever seen exploding from the Redcliffe Jetty.
Meander through the twilight markets and food stalls or treat yourself to dinner at one of the local restaurants, all the while enjoying the exceptional beach atmosphere.
Redcliffe Remembers is converting the Redcliffe Foreshore Precinct into a historical wonderland, celebrating and honouring the Peninsula's iconic people and places, both past and present. Redcliffe Remembers is bringing families a wealth of musical talent from the 1950's Rock 'n Roll classics to Celtic fiddle. Families will get to experience a large classic and custom car display, or perhaps, if you prefer, take a stroll through the largest markets to hit Redcliffe Parade. Enjoy the diversity of street performers and buskers, go down memory lane in the Penny Arcade, or rev up your motors at the Billy Cart races; take a Historical Guided Walk; or enjoy a High Tea. Encounter a true sense of history with a re-enactment of the first landing and the Indigenous welcome from representatives of the Gubbi Gubbi people.
