The Red Robin Christmas Market is a popular annual event, which brings together an eclectic range of arts and crafts from all corners of the globe and supports the Fair Trade social movement.

This year's event will be held on the weekend of the 13th and 14th of December 2014 at the convenient location of 95 South Terrace, Adelaide from 10am to 4pm.

This two-day event is proudly presented by Beautifulmind Beautifulworld (BMBW) and African Twilight Market, two not for profit organisations which together work hard to make a difference in the lives of underprivileged women in Bangladesh and youth in Africa through the development of micro businesses.

Over the two days, Adelaide market goers will have the unique opportunity to purchase a range of original gifts from far- flung places - think lovely silk scarves from Thailand; items featuring East African 'khanga', metal work and beading by youths from Zimbabwe living in South Africa as refugees; unique 'Flowers in your Hair' jewellery; African icon art work; photography of Australiana fauna & flora; traditional hand embroidery and jute products from Bangladesh; silver & gem stone jewellery from Nepal and much more.

There will also be a fabulous range of children's art, toys and handicrafts on offer as well. And by special request, authentic Portuguese Egg Tarts and gluten free delicacies will be available to eat in or take away.

If you are looking to purchase unique gifts for friends and family this festive season, make note of the upcoming Red Robin Christmas Market event. It is sure to be an energetic celebration of world cultures and a great way to support women and children in developing countries as well as fellow South Australians who are passionate about community development projects and small business development for refugees and other newcomers to Adelaide.

Entry is free.
