The national flower of Nepal, rhododendrons have over 1,000 species and 28,000 hybrids cultivated. They are grown for their spectacular flowers, which bloom in Spring. In addition to red, the blooms of this evergreen shrub also include shads of yellow and orange. The rhododendrons in the National Rhododendron Garden are showy displays of bright red flowers.
