Pop into The Red Poppy
Just around the corner from Redcliffe Parade, you'll find a genuine gem! The Red Poppy Art Collective opened in February this year and is already gaining much popularity for its wonderful collection of artworks by local artists.
There's so much to see and choose from for that special gift! Paintings line the walls, the shelves are loaded with different crafts which include homewares, jewellery, and more.
Some of the work featured has been created from no longer wanted items. A range of earrings created from old doyleys that were very popular table decor back in the early to mid-1900s and now no longer used for that role are on display and will make a wonderful gift.
Are you an artist looking for somewhere to sell your work? Pop into Red Poppy Art Collective and have a chat with the staff. They are keen to showcase as much local art as possible. There are some details on their website.
