An evening to celebrate female leaders and entrepreneurs

This wonderful event is being hosted by Leaders in Heels, a website and community that is dedicated to growing, nurturing and celebrating female leadership and entrepreneurship in Australia. If you're not already a reader of Leaders in Heels be sure to head on over to the site for your daily dose of motivation. The founder, Kasia and her team do a wonderful job of dishing out realistic and helpful advice and articles.

This event will be a great networking, business building, inspiration finding and metor-style evening for women who are already in leadership position or seeking at attain them, as well as those who own or are thinking of starting their own businesses. Come prepared to 'be inspired by top female leaders, network with change makers and celebrate your accomplishments!"

Across the course of the evening, you crate your perfect Linked-in page, enjoy fine wines from Catching Thieves and great food as you speed-network and mini have a makeover from Napoleon Perdis with complimentary corporate photo shoots.

Speakers for the evening will include:

  • Jules Sebastian, a Sydney-based television presenter, stylist and professionally trained make-up artist. Jules is also a co-founder (alongside her husband Guy) of The Sebastian Foundation in order to support communities and groups, children, empowering women and taking a stand against domestic violence.

  • Alexandra Mills, CEO of Products at AussieCommerce Group. AussieCommerce Group is an e-commerce giant, and was named Australia's Fastest Growing Company by BRW in 2013. Alexandra joined the business world later in life after a successful career as a professional ballerina.

  • Kirsten Galliot, Editor in Chief of Qantas Magazine. Kirsten was also the past Editor of Instyle magazine and has edited Sunday Life magazine and the (Sydney) Magazine.

  • Devika Mohotti, Business Advisor and Deputy Chair, IFAC PAODC. In 2012, Devika Mohotti was appointed to the IFAC-PAODC (International Federation of Accountants Professional Accountancy Organization Development Committee) where she works with the committee and IFAC staff to deliberate the issues and initiatives to develop accountancy organizations.

  • Kasia Gospos, Founder and Publisher of Leaders In Heels.

The Red Heels Day event will be held at Aussie Commerce on Kent Street Sydney from 6-9pm on Thursday 15 October, 2015. All attendees will be given a goodie bag with a range of beauty products, condiments, vouchers, and most importantly your complimentary copy of the Leaders In Heels' Make Your Mark notebook.
