Sometimes you might feel left out, friendless and alone.
Sometimes it can seem as though nothing will ever get better, or that you will never be happy again. Sometimes one person showing you a little support can be the most important and meaningful thing to happen to you.
The premise of Red for Ruby Day is simple. Wear red. It doesn't matter if it's something small, like gloves or boots, something big like a dress or a top, or something grand like dyeing your hair or wearing a long, red coat. The important thing is letting your friends, your family, and anyone else suffering from depression, that they are not alone, and that there is someone they can talk to.
On the 24th of September, wear a little red and let your friends know that you are there for them. Open up dialogues about mental illness, or maybe organise a morning tea or get-together. It's only a little thing, but it could mean a whole lot to someone.
