Sustainable shopping is the way of the future for our planet, and here's your chance to dip your toes in it if you're not already a seasoned pre-loved clothes shopping, bargain hunter. With all proceeds going towards Australian Red Cross projects, what better way to support this wonderful cause than to come to the Red Cross Pop-Up Shop on Saturday 16 June 2018 from 10am to 5pm.
That's plenty time for you to shop till you drop, all in the name of charity of course; at the Melbourne Town Hall, 90-130 Swanston St, Melbourne. Stay updated and join the discussion on their event page.
With a goal of over 20,000 units of stock, there's something for everyone. Bring your op-shopping, bargain-hunting, re-purposing, up-cycling friends and grab a bargain in this treasure trove of pre-loved, new and vintage fashion finds. There'll be something for men, women and children in clothing and accessories, designer clothing, up-cycled runway ready outfits and clothing and accessories from fashion bloggers' wardrobes. Challenge your fashion sense and mix and match prints like stylist Chiara Lauren below from her day 3 outfit of her op shop challenge for Perth Fashion Festival last year. A good opportunity to create your own unique look.
The Australian Red Cross is BIG in their humanitarian efforts and there's many other ways you can continue to help, be it donating your time as a volunteer, shopping with them, donating blood, get involved in fundraising for them, or simply donating dollars. They will happily accept your good condition clothing donations as every little bit helps in their quest to provide support to all those who need them. If your first aid skills are not up to scratch, now is the time to learn with Red Cross as well. Happy shopping thrifty shoppers!
