Do you love the thrill of op shopping, sifting through racks of clothing and tables of knick-knacks to find that one special item? Are you always amazed at the quality of the goods people throw away? Do you love being the first one to spot a bargain, before anyone has realised an item's value? If so, you definitely need to check out Recycleworld.

Located in Redland Bay in Brisbane's south east area, this treasure trove is a little out of the way, but you won't be sorry you made the trip.

Stock is changing constantly with some items coming straight from the tip next door; you never know what you'll find. Although you won't find any clothing for your vintage collection, you can expect to see furniture, kitchenware, sporting equipment both old and new, retro and children's bicycles, tools, and even arcade stations. Sweet vintage items like typewriters and suitcases are not uncommon either!

Items sell for cheap, you can pick up a whole lot of unmarked items for five bucks if you're lucky. Haggling is always an option and you might find yourself a witness or part of a spontaneous auction for a popular piece.

Recycleworld is open Thursday-Sunday, and if you aren't looking for competition while you browse, avoid shopping on the busiest day which is Sunday.
