What a great opportunity to get our head in the game of shopping sustainably - going on a
Recycled Fashion Tour on
Thursday 29 September 2022 from 9.15am to 10.45am AWST at
Old Perth Road, (Marquee close to Spotted), Bassendean, WA. All you need to do is
register to attend this free event, to learn tips and tricks on how to shop more mindfully at this unique tour. This is an event suitable for adults and young people aged 12 and over.
According to a prediction by
Forbes, by 2028 pre-loved clothing sales are expected to outrank traditional retail sales. Come and learn how and why to shop for pre-loved and that not all pre-loved stores are the same. There'll be a short presentation before you learn how to dress more sustainably, shop mindfully and tackle common pre-loved shopping stigma. Next, you'll be putting the tips you learnt into action and browse together at Vinnies and Spotted, followed by a light morning tea at Toe Beans. Be sure to dress weather appropriate, including footwear, as this is a 'walking' tour.
