Paper will the fabric of choice at this year's Recreate Twilight Market and Paper Fashion Show in King George Square on Friday 10 November 2017. The market coincides with National Recycling Week making everything old new again. The paper-themed twilight market and paper fashion show is all about recognising and celebrating Brisbane's recycling efforts and inspiring more recycling for a cleaner, greener city.
In November 1996, Planet Ark founded National Recycling Week to bring a national focus to the environmental benefits of recycling. Today, it is a highly regarded annual campaign which continues to educate and stimulate behaviour change.
The market is presented by Brisbane City Council and VISY Recycling, Recreate and will feature BrisStyle Market stall holders selling handmade, sustainable wares, a fashion runway for paper couture created by some of our best designers as well as food trucks and live entertainment. The market runs from 4pm-9pm. Come and grab an original fashion piece that your friends will be envious of.
