Explore our Coastline with the Traditional Owners
A three kilometre second annual Recognise Coastal Walk has been organised by the Sunshine Coast Reconciliation Group starting at 3pm, on Saturday August 6th from Woorim Park Golden Beach. There will be a traditional Welcome to Country by a local Undumbi Elder with Gubbi Gubbi dance, stories, didgeridoo playing and an opportunity to paint.

The Currimundi Lions Club will be providing a free sausage sizzle and there will be lots of free giveaways from various stallholders. Limited souvenir T-shirts will be available for $10, plus a raffle of a painting by Tracey Nicholson from the Nandjimadi Art group, plus other prizes.

If you have ever been curious about our First Australians and their rich culture, then this is a perfect opportunity to come and hear directly from them about their heritage as they welcome everyone openly. This event has seven sponsors, so join in and have a memorable afternoon.
