25 Reasons to Go to Kids Wonderland

A winter wonderland festival for the family
Kid's Wonderland, Perth's biggest winter children's' event, is celebrating its fifth birthday,

It is held under Western Australia's largest Big Top during the July School Holidays and is held for five whole days.

This year, there have been ten new attractions added to the event, plus all the favourites from previous years.

Some of the fabulous rides on offer include the following:

1. The Buggybuddys Snow Slide - this is one of the new attractions and is 20 metres long. It will take kids and adults on a toboggan ride at high speeds and is the perfect way to celebrate winter.

2. Storm - take a whirl on this fast spinning sensation of a ride! It is the most popular carnival ride in Perth! Holding just 24 riders, this is a "gee whizzer" style adventure pulling multiple G's of force.

3. Fiesta Balloon - this is one of the largest capacity family rides in Western Australia. The Fiesta Balloon spins and oscillates making it a fast-paced favourite for young thrillseekers. It is suitable for ages 2 up till adult.

4. The Lost Temple Children can bounce around on The Lost Temple in this giant inflatable oasis.

5. Dream Swinger - for the thrill seekers out there, this brand new Dream Swinger towers at 12 m high. It is a ride that gives you 360 views and thrills!

6. Taxi Jets - On this ride, 5 themed cars rotate with up and down motion, playing a host of musical tunes. Each car has 4 steering wheels so the children can drive.

7. Merry Go Round - this needs no introduction and is for the younger children.

8. Mini Ferris Wheel - this is a smaller version of a Ferris wheel, and also needs no introduction!

9. Cup and Saucer - this is the perfect ride for all ages.

10. Runaway Train - this ride has two deep dips and fast turns. It is a type of roller-coaster ride for the whole family.

11. Camelot Castle - Take a bounce on the Camelot Castle! This is a popular ride for the younger children

12. Showbags - there will be showbags available at this event!

13. EinSTeiN's Top Secret Science - come and sink your hands into the gooey "SLIME" workshop. Children will make slime with the help of EinSTeiN's assistance.

14. Ultimate Slot Races - this is the ultimate Slot car experience. Race to the finish line to see who will win.

15. Wonderland Maze - enter the Wonderland Maze which is another brand new activity for 2018!

16. Kiddie Cruisers - all Kiddie Cruisers' are mini replicas of the most stylish motor vehicles on the market! They are suitable for ages 2 to 8 years.

17. Insects Alive - This exhibit is hidden in the Wonderland Garden Oasis and is an Australian first! Get up close and personal with these beautiful giant animatronic insects.

18. PerthNow Gaming Arcade - here you can play a number of arcade games such as pinball, air hockey, Daytonas and more.

19. Zap o Nauts Live Show - a fabulous stage act, well worth watching.

20. The Fun Pad - this is a fully refurbished double-decker party bus that has soft play equipment suitable for children aged 3-12 years.

Play events include blockbusters, monkey bars, log ramps, secret tunnels, ball pit, dance floor, up and over, punching bags, suspended tunnel, pot hole run, mangle squeeze and jumbo slide.

21. Luna Entrance - Enter the giant mouth! This Luna Park style entrance welcomes everyone into it. It is a great place to have photos taken!

22. Brownes Dairy Milking Station - here Farmer Damian is dropping by Kids Wonderland to explain to children about the day to day life of a dairy farmer. You can also try your hand at milking a Brownes Dairy specially-built replica cow!

23. Sideshow Games - games here include Laughing Clowns, Fishing Pool, Rabbit Shooting Gallery, Pick a Box and Lucky Numbers.

24. Springfree Trampoline - this is the world's safest and first Smart Trampoline.

25. Food and drinks - there is an assorted of food you can get here. These include Stitches Coffee Bar, Brownes Dairy Sampling Station, Fairy Floss; Popcorn and The Wooden Box Cart.

The Wooden Box cart is a unique food truck providing you with great food and drinks. They will have a choice of healthy and delicious food options. Things such as nachos, stuffed potato skins, chicken tortillas and much more!

Parents can sit back and relax in The City of Stirling Oasis.

Here you can enjoy a wave on the adult-friendly Wave Swinger and join in with the children on their favourite family rides.

Kids Wonderland have been raising money for children's charities for several years now. They have raised more than $55,000 so far.

This year, Kids Wonderland will be held from Wednesday 4th to Sunday 8th July, 2018 at Hertha Road Reserve, 21 Cedric Street, Stirling.

There will be various sessions, and times for these are:
8:00 am to 11:00 am
12:00 noon to 3:00 pm
3:45 pm to 6:45 pm

You pay your entry fee once only, and this allows you to experience the magic and wonder of unlimited carnival show rides, interactive gaming, fabulous stage shows and educational exhibits.

Adults $15 plus booking fee
Kids $25 plus booking fee
Under 2 FREE - with an accompanying full paying child and adult ticket, however they do not receive the Kids Wonderland Free Pass.

The event is suitable for children ages 2 to 12 and not all rides are suitable for adults.
