Walk with me in life
The plot is propelling forward in episode 3, titled 'The Lord Shall Be Our Companion.' I felt the story became more intricate and the suspense kept me riveted throughout.

Engman family:

Inger makes the decision for Anita to stay. She wants her treated like a human being and says it's a question of dignity.

They will all visit Grandpa that afternoon and take Anita with them. Inger says, "She can ride in the boot. If we drive carefully."

They go to the beach for a swim and Anita is frightened of the water – stepping back and forth. Memories are slowly returning about her time with Leo as Mimi.

Inger takes an interest in what Anita likes, taking her shopping for headbands and going back to the Hubot Market where she came from after being stolen. There Anita receives another flashback from the tactless salesman.

Curiosity and lack of control get the better of Vera when she takes the key to investigate the basement, while Lennart is asleep. He is awoken to her screams; Odi attacks Vera, slamming her head into the concrete floor.

Eyes flicker and Lennart switches her off, as Odi stands in the background asking, "Want some lasagne?"

Still a good friend to Lennart, Odi is getting progressively unreliable in his capabilities, to the point he may be on the road to endangering Lennart's life unintentionally.

Vera is reprogrammed by Hans and remains adamant there's a man living in the basement; describing Odi. After her legitimate claims are refuted, Lennart gets his way to keep the downstairs space locked and his only. Inger sees it as a matter of integrity.

Pleased with his victory, Lennart adds 'lasagne' to his requests. Inger enforces it to be made 'once a week.' He cashes his first meal ticket right away and tells Vera when he is done eating, that her best value is for resale as spare parts.

Thinking he has the upper hand again, Lennart is mistaken when it's revealed that Vera placed a Zolpidem sleeping pill in his lasagne or wine and sweet dreams suddenly call upon him.

Leo & rogue hubots:

The rogue hubots follow on from the 2nd episode recharging in the church. Niska appeals to the pastor's good nature to provide refuge and power.

Pastor Åsa drives the convincing, liberated hubots to her parish office where they stay and recharge secretly. Her partner Eva holds uncertainty about their safety in relation to the nearby farm murders.

Leo and Max raid a demountable building on a construction site for food and supplies. The ERHUB is called in when Max is caught standing guard like 'Pac-man.'

Going back to Hubot Heaven they continue the search for Mimi. Leo strikes a deal with the Manager to alter the hubots DNA by 'source code.'

In exchange for personality and intelligence adjustments, they receive room and board for one week, electricity for Max and food for Leo.

Transformed hubots are different and dream of another life like humans live.

Roger's family:

Roger attends an Akta manniskor meeting where the Chairman suggests hubots still have their uses in dangerous jobs. The members uniformly disagree.

His new found companions Malte and Beatrice believe they'll soon have a hubot hugger as chairman with such weak will and hatch their own private plan, yet to be revealed.

Beatrice also works for ERHUB. There is suspicion she may not be who everyone thinks she is.

Therese still wants Roger to move on with his life, leaving a message for him to, "Try an online dating service. There's someone for everybody."

I have noticed the hubots emit a computer processing sound when something is debatable or upsetting. Is this film effect or just another indicator in their desire for evolution to a natural life?
