LOVE your HUBOT-but not too much please
Real Humans, Leo, Hubot
Leo on the search in the seediest parts of HUBOT existence.

Real Humans Episode 2 began at an entirely different pace this week as the history of Leo's love for Anita slowly reveals itself. If there was any doubt in the first episode as to who was actually human, this blur set the questioning alight that the line between HUBOT and human may not exist at all.

HUBOTS with evil intent, Real Humans
Evolution doesn't always go our way.

This week was much more intense and a little more frightening but quickly returned to the continual exploration of the interpersonal relationships between all the characters including the HUBOTs themselves. I was relieved to see Odi still cherished and being nurtured to partial health by grandfather. As I say, this I realise that I have also discovered sentimentality towards a HUBOT.

My heart goes out to Roger, however, as the viewer struggles through the incredibly awkward relationship between his ex wife and her beloved young HUBOT. His confused step-son struggles as a sideline character in his own family life.

Real Humans, Anita, doll, robot, human
Well Anita? How will your HUBOT allegiance fair now?

I would recommend this episode, not only to tech lovers, but those with an interest in modern relationships and our disconnection from each other as non HUBOTS. Personally, if Odi doesn't get better soon, I may find myself shedding a real tear.
