Celebrate St Patrick's Day with some Irish legends

Forget downing Guinness at the local pub this Saint Patrick's Day - instead head to Old Mill Theatre in South Perth for an enjoyable night of Irish poetry and prose. Presented in English and Irish Gaelic, expect to hear iconic poems and prose from both classic and contemporary Irish poets.

This special event will take place on Sunday, 17th of March at 2.30pm and will present a celebration of some of Ireland's most famous poets - including James Joyce, Seamus Heaney and W.B.Yeats and will prove to be novel way to celebrate Saint Patrick's Day this Sunday.

Admission is priced at $10 per person and whether you are familiar with the rich diversity of classic and modern Irish poetry or are just looking for something different to do on Saint Patrick's Day, this event is sure to prove insightful and fascinating.

Seats will be on sale at the door or can be reserved by calling 0408 908 928.

Of course, you can head down to the local pub after the event and perhaps recite a few lines of Yeat's "The Second Coming" with fellow St. Patrick's Day celebrators. It's a win-win!
