Sunny days, a nice cold drink and a good book to relax with. Sounds idyllic doesn't it?
Well, I have a few reading recommendations here for you to enjoy.

Daisy Jones and The Six by Taylor Jenkins Reid
DAISY JONES AND THE SIX by TAYLOR JENKINS REID
Set in the 1970's rock and roll era, this story follows the fictional band
The Six and up and coming "it" girl on the scene Daisy Jones. A reporter is the teller of the story, by way of interviews with key players from the past who saw and lived through the era of "Daisy Jones and The Six".
An intriguing and fascinating glimpse into the heedy world of sex, drugs and rock 'n roll. I was picturing some of the key players as members of Fleetwood Mac, although the story is fictional.

The Mummy Bloggers by Holly Wainwright
[B
]THE MUMMY BLOGGERS by HOLLY WAINWRIGHT[/B]
This story is shared between three bloggers, which is quite a relevant topic in today's social media lifestyle. The three women are all connected in way or another, and all three have been nominated for the "Blog-ahh award" and that is where the competition between the ladies becomes even more intense.
This book is a fantastic read and one I just did not want to put down until finished!

The Truths and Triumphs of Grace Atherton
THE TRUTHS AND TRIUMPS OF GRACE ATHERTON by ANSTEY HARRIS
Grace's world is orderly and sensible - except for that one part that soon leads to her reconsidering her whole life plan, and daring to revisit the dreams she had once lost. I was reading this book and barracking for Grace to overcome her setbacks and fly!

Pink Mountain on Locust Island by Jamie Marina Lau
PINK MOUNTAIN ON LOCUST ISLAND
Monk is the teenage protagonist in this story. She lives in Chinatown with her Dad who likes to lounge around and do not much else. New people enter the equation such as a young budding artist named Santa Coy and changes the course of the monotonous life she lives.

How to be Second Best by Jessica Dettmann
HOW TO BE SECOND BEST by JESSICA DETTMANN
Emma's life was changed dramatically when her husband fathered another woman's child - while she herself was pregnant with their second child. A few years have now passed and Emma is parenting both her children, as well as the other woman's for a significant part of the time. The story has us following Emma, who has been trying to make the best out of a terrible situation and is now realising she needs to make some changes to bring more happiness into her life. Overall, a very enjoyable read!
