Clean and healthy eaters might like to hear about a Raw Vegetarian Workshop taking place in Parkdale this March.
Eating food in its raw state, generally prepared at 46 degrees or less, has been known to benefit health and well-being. Eating raw food retains most of its nutrients and goodness, fueling our bodies with increased energy, brighter eyes and greater concentration, as well as assisting with effortless weight loss and anti-aging.
Raw food specialist Marianne Wright will be offering a number of raw food workshops in the coming months, with the upcoming Raw Vegetarian Workshop taking place on Sunday 15 March concentrating on vegetables, making them tasty and interesting to eat.
In a two hour class, Marianne will be putting together the following tasty raw menu:
Fermented carrot and dulse
Coconut wraps with coriander salad
Cashew yoghurt with mango macadamia crush
If you would like to take part in Marianne's healthy and delicious Raw Food Workshop , the cost is $97 per person, or $70 per person if payment is made by 10 March. Once payment is made, the address will be provided. Contact Marianne on rawified(AT)yahoo.com.au for any questions or to secure your spot.
