Good things come in threes and Raw Paw Paw is the latest addition to the Venzin Group's Paw Paw portfolio of cafe goodness, completing their trifecta by opening last month in Brisbane's breakfast central – New Farm.

The Venzin Group seem to be holding more of the cards all the on the Brisbane dining scene. I've been a long time fan of the Paw Paw Café, so much so, that I recently declared them as the best café in Woolloongabba . And for dinner I can also recommend The Green Papaya , adjoining the Paw Paw Café with its fresh and zesty take on Balinese and Thai cuisine. I've yet to visit Kedron's The Little Paw Paw, but if the food is served up with as much gusto and creativity as the abovementioned, it's also to be a winner.

So how does their newest incarnation The Raw Paw Paw measure up? As the name suggests, this is an establishment offering healthy raw, and vegan goodness. You won't see any bacon on the menu here – which since I've suffered from bacon fatigue is actually quite refreshing. Speaking of refreshing, their handmade cold pressed juices which are all the rage right now, definitely fit this description.

The Venzin Group undoubtedly chose New Farm as the perfect location to open considering the population of boot campers, cross fitters and SUV driving yummy mummies in the area who are highly invested in all things healthy.

But healthy food isn't just for the svelte and toned. I guarantee food that is this fresh and delicious has a place in everyone's appetite. I chose the Acai Bowl ($11.90) since I've long heard about the hype about this so-called super food and figured it was time I gave it a try. I loved it.

A cold breakfast isn't my usual fare, but this blended smoothie concoction with coconut water, was topped with crunchy caramelised buckinis (made from buckwheat) berries, banana slices, and garnished with edible nasturtiums. An absolute feast for the eyes and the stomach this certainly was. My partner went for the lifestyle board, which had a bit of everything. Poached eggs, sliced avo, dukkah, fresh lemon, goats cheese, and roasted cherry tomatoes on sourdough and all for $14.90.

Some of their other menu items (notably the salads) would definitely be more suited for brunch slash lunch in my mind, along with the delectable looking rolls and salads in the cabinet. The zucchini salad looked amazing, as did the char grilled pumpkin and capsicum salad.

If it's caffeine you need, the Raw Paw Paw barista team have the know-how (and the equipment) to brew to your liking. You can even go for organic almond milk in your coffee to be extra healthy. I did but rather wish I didn't, deciding that when it comes to caffeine at least, I need to stay predictable.

When it comes to the setting, as you almost have come to expect with any new café opening these days, they've done an exceptional job with the fit out. It's great to see the weatherboard façade of the former café that occupied the space has been retained, along with the charming corner store feel of decades past.

Inside they have gone for the timber tones which is a fitting ode to the natural, earthy feel of the place and really works well. But perhaps my favourite touch is the bright paw paw paintings on the dining benches outside. Let's just say I couldn't wait to Instagram it.

My experience at was definitely the highlight of my day and there's no question I'll be back. But to clarify, it will have to be when I'm not already breakfasting at one of their other establishments.
