Enjoy great coffee, tasty local food and stunning views
RAW Kitchen & Espresso is a lovely casual restaurant and cafe based at the superb Sanctuary Cove, offering great coffee, breakfast and lunch overlooking breathtaking views of the Marina which is on the Coomera River.
Using only the best in local produce and ingredients, RAW prides itself on producing exceptional traditional food with a modern flair. They have plenty of covered and outdoor tables, and can cater for large parties or intimate tables for two.
I have been a number of times and the staff are always super friendly and the service is always good, no matter how busy they are.
The prizes are reasonable too; you can get a mouth-watering burger and fries for only $17. They have a full breakfast menu available till 11:30 and a full lunch menu covering a variety of styles and tastes including snacks to share, main meals, pizza, salads, fresh seafood and some very tempting cakes and desserts which are all made in-house.
Plus if you like them on Facebook or subscribe quite often, they have brilliant offers such as "free coffee day" where you can get a free coffee to takeaway or to have in the restaurant. It's not just one either, I had one to take away, then came back an hour later for lunch where we had another free coffee (yay).
They also have live music most weekends and special events - so you can sip your coffee (or something stronger), tuck into a tasty meal, hear free live music all whilst overlooking the stunning marina. What a life.
Sanctuary Cove is a beautiful resort style community offering the best in living, retail, entertainment and dining. It is always one of my favourite places to visit - I love looking at all the boats and yachts and soaking up the luxurious vibe.
Absolutely worth a visit (about 30 minutes drive from the Gold Coast beaches), especially if Sanctuary Cove has an event on such as the Mummy Tree Markets or the Outdoor Cinema, then you can make a day of it.
It is open 7am till 4 pm daily for breakfast and lunch.
I wish I had gone on the day you went!
My friend and her husband joined me at Raw a couple of Saturdays ago.
I was surprised & disappointed that 1)there name did not reflect a Truely Raw Cafe food experience that normally relates to Organic Raw Uncooked cakes, biscuits, slices, vegetarian,Vegan cuisine as those in other suburbs? The staff were lovely but 2)It did take over an hour to be served our lunch and my friends husband had to scoff his lunch down in order to get back to work. The meal was lovely nevertheless. But it took a further 30 min after we ordered our drinks to get to us as well. Time management issue all round unfortunately on the day I went.It didnt leave us alot of time to view the rest of the Ambiance & surrounds due to other commitments.
Did they want us to stay and make the restaurant appear full or were they really busy? Was the lunch nice..Yes it was!
