Although still in its infancy,
Street Espress Cafe , Chelsea's newest eatery, packs a wholesome punch to locals and visitors, nourishing hipsters, nannas, kids and city commuters alike.
Situated directly opposite Chelsea Train Station, Street Espress Cafe offers some of the healthiest and nutritious snacks in town, with a variety of vegan and vegetarian friendly options made with locally sourced seasonal veggies, proper chai (
made with Prana ), a selection of raw foods, and meat dishes using free range chicken, ham, bacon and eggs.
Street Espress Cafe's owners have been promoting healthy living and eating practices by offering workshops for patrons to learn a variety of good-health programs. Such workshops include: clean eating, nutrition, fermented foods (kombucha) and even crochet classes.
The newest in Street Espress Cafe's workshop series, is a
that will take place on the premises after trading hours this coming Saturday 14 March.
The class will begin at 4pm and continue until 6:30pm, and will cover two basic recipes for beginners to start their own raw food journey to create delicious, guilt-free sweets at home.
There will be one easy raw dessert recipe and a protein ball treat covered in the workshop with tastings guaranteed! All workshop participants will get to take home a recipe sheet
(dedicated to Jess Ainscough , the Wellness Warrior that inspired Street Espress Cafe's own journey) to try out their new delicious treat-making at home in their blender or food processor. Older children are welcome and encouraged.
