A new range from Raw by Earth is their element candles. Made with environment-friendly soy-wax in the four elements of fire, water, earth and air. They also represent the signs of the zodiac. They are available with and without crystals. Priced at $45-00 with and $35 without crystals. They have a 45 hour burn.

Crystals are often said to have therapeutic powers. Among the 29 different quartz and crystals, you are sure to find one to make you feel better, no matter what ails you. Small ones and large ones can be selected to soothe whatever ailment you have.

Extra-large crystals are available, as well as whispering trees. On enquiring, I learnt that the whispering trees were incense stick holders. If you purchase a whispering tree, you will need some incense sticks. A large range includes lavender, musk and lemongrass. There are frankincense and myrrh for a Christmas theme. I'm not sure if I want to experience the dragon's blood one.

When you light the salt lamps, they give out a warm, reddish-pink glow. It is said the lamps can boost mood, improve sleep, ease allergies, help people with asthma breathe better, and clean the air, among other benefits.

Feel like an aromatic bath? Then the colourful bath salts can give you that feeling. Even more aromatic is the range of soaps. Bubble-gum rainbow, peppermint, sweet orange and mandarin, lime and basil are just four. They look more like cakes than cakes of soap.
