Come for the the view, stay for the prices
These days it's rare to come across a tiny little cafe that is elegant, has a lovely range of dishes to choose from and is extremely well priced - but this is exactly what you will find at Ravenhill Cafe.
We discovered this little cafe through a Scoopon voucher and were pleasantly surprised upon entering to find it is an elegant although small little cafe. The sweeping glass windows offer some lovely street views which make you feel quite at home.
They have all your usual breakfast dishes, from eggs and muesli through to eggs benedict and a decadent smashed avocado with feta on toast served with two poached eggs. However, the real highlight of this place is the actual prices being so reasonable.
Most of the breakfast dishes were around $12.50 with the smashed avocado being the only one that was a little more expensive and possibly in line with other cafes at $17.50. They have a lovely selection of teas and the usual coffees, hot chocolates and juices. They also have a lovely range of organic juices to choose from if you are after something a little special.
If you fancy something a little more decadent, on offer are ham croissant and lovely homemade pies filled with huge chunks of beef in a light flaky pastry. These gourmet pies around $8 50.
Located on the corner of High St and Albion Rd, 1/10-12 High Street Glen Iris Melbourne, Victoria, Australia, VIC 3146
