Nestled amidst the hustle and bustle of the Sydney's Chinatown district lies an absolute gem of a Japanese restaurant.
Catering for lunch and dinner, this place remains almost a secret among businessmen and some of the surrounding university students. Some may find it hard to find as the restaurant is not actually on ground level. An elevator, or a set of stairs, will bring any customers up to the appropriate level above the Oporto store.
The diverse menu contains a number of dishes which represent a decent portion of popular and authentic Japanese cuisine. Many of which are capable of leaving any 'picky' eater more than satisfied.
Any of the Ramen meals are highly recommended. Personally I really enjoyed the large array of $3 side-dishes, because you don't have to spend a fortune to get a good grounding on the different types of food offered by the establishment. The main-course dishes are very reasonably priced and the serving sizes ensure you're getting your moneys worth.
For anyone who finds themselves in Chinatown, or possibly attending the Sydney Entertainment Centre - make sure you give 'Ramen Kan' a try.
With quick and efficient staff you won't be disappointed
