The in Sydney is a highly successful multicultural festival event that celebrates the festival of Eid, organised every year to celebrate the end of Holy Month of Ramadan and the beginning of Eid Festival. With free entry and free parking, this festival is attended by thousands of people from various communities. Held at the Whitlam Centre, this year the bazaar is being held on June 1 with different options for entertainment as well as food stalls, sweets, arts and craft, clothing and dresses, jewellery, local business stalls and rides to entertain the community.



Eid-ul-Fitr, also called the 'Festival of Breaking the Fast', is an important religious holiday celebrated by Muslims worldwide marking the end of Ramadan, the Islamic holy month of fasting. The local Muslim community comes together at the Bazaar every year to mark the break of their fast with food stalls selling an array of delicious foods including fresh kebabs roasted on hot coals, Biryani, Haleem, curry stalls, vegetarian options like Chickpeas "Chhole" with puffy fried bread "Bhature" and "Aloo Puri". For dessert, there are choices like "Seviyan" a pudding-like dessert and other mouth-watering options. There's something for all ages to enjoy with a variety of stalls, temporary henna tattoos and the kids will have a great time getting their faces painted and experiencing all the rides.

This fun family event starts at 3 pm and goes on till late at night. The Ramadan Eid Bazaar is a traditional food fair festival where the revellers come all dressed up in a joyous mood to celebrate this religious occasion with everyone in Sydney.

The Bazaar also has several stalls with jewellery, accessories and clothing and even footwear stalls selling something for everyone. There is also a fashion parade that showcases the latest fashion in the hall.

The Muslim community in Liverpool area makes a great multicultural mix with people from other faiths in the area who also support the event wholeheartedly. Many locals also turn up to enjoy the tasty dishes as well as buy clothes and enjoy the atmosphere.
