A day of fun retail therapy
Raj House Open Day Markets on Sunday August 27
Raj House in Adelaide CBD is the home of the Feast Festival and a drop-in space for LGBTIQ people and their friends. It is host to occasional events and performances, and a home for creative artists and like minded organisations.
This weekend, Raj House is holding an open day with markets on Sunday August 27. The markets will feature a variety of artists and market stalls selling artisan and locally made goods. While arrangements are not yet final, the market stalls will include
The Raj Bar will be open from 12pm enabling visitors a chance to have a drink, and wander through the building to see what Raj House offers. From Monday spaces will be available for lease to new creative start-ups wanting to join Raj House's cultural hub. The tenancies will be attractive thanks to a partnership with Renew Adelaide.
Also coinciding with the Raj House Open Day Markets is the first drop-in session for MESS. Marriage Equality Support System (MESS) is offering opportunities to chat about the government's Marriage Equality postal vote in a warm and welcoming environment. Many young lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgendered people don't have a good support network, and this drop in session at Raj House aims to fill that need.
Drop by Raj House at 54 Hyde Street, Adelaide any time from 10am on Sunday for a little retail therapy, to explore the Feast Festival headquarters or just to have a drink at the bar - everyone is welcome!
