Showing our gratitude to our unsung heroes - the CFS firies
Over the past weekend, we have seen a wave of devastation sweep through our lush and beautiful Adelaide Hills, enveloping them in flames from uncontrollable bushfires. Many people have lost their properties and livelihoods, but they have also been graced by the painstaking efforts and relentless bravery shown by our fearless volunteer firefighters with Country Fire Service (CFS). While many of us are going into the holiday mode, we are still witnessing a high volume of volunteers who are still fighting the SA bushfires and may not get to experience a merry time with their families and/or loved ones.
To help with supporting them through this tragic and tumultuous time, GM Hotels are hosting a fundraiser across their venues next Monday (December 30), where $10 from each schnitzel purchase will be donated to aid the CFS' hardworking team of volunteers.

Whether you're looking for a low-key pre-New Years Eve catch-up with your family, friends, and/or loved ones or are looking to try someplace new and exciting for your regular Schnitty nights out on Mondays, make sure you go for one (or some) of these incredible options to not only get your fix of a delicious schnitzel feed but also to do your part in raising funds for our real heroes, who have been in the fire-fuelled battlefield these last few days and doing their absolute best to preserve one of the most loved and treasured parts of South Australia that has always been a haven for locals and tourists to enjoy too at its prime. We may have had some irreplaceable losses over the weekend, but with a strong and focused community effort, we can help rebuild and repair what's left of the gorgeous Hills region on Monday (December 30, 2019) - one schnitzel at a time!
