Encouraging children to love and care for our local environment through story time
Three local eco-books authors are sharing their books with story time sessions - Image: www.eventbrite.com.au
Children are invited to come along to visit a magical world of children’s environmental literature at
Rainforest Reads: Stories under the Canopy , on specific days of the school holidays in December.
Three local eco-book authors are sharing their books with daily story time sessions, arts and crafts activities and inspirational displays. The objective is for children and their caregivers to fall in love with a shy and beautiful moth; a bum-breathing turtle looking for a friend; and the little Wallum sedgefrog, whose habitat is springing back to life after a bushfire.
