Rainbow Day is a wonderful free event for kids, families and friends. This year, the fun and entertainment will be held on the Semaphore Foreshore, near the jetty and playground. The event will go from 10am-2pm on Sunday, November 6th. It is always an enjoyable day and a great opportunity for kids to get out, socialise and explore!
This year, Rainbow Day will have so many things to see and do that you won't know where to start. There's planned to be live performances, market pavilion, art and craft activities, a petting zoo, bouncy castle, carnival attractions, face painting, and more. A sausage sizzle will also be taking place to feed those hungry mouths after a jam-packed morning.
Walk With Wings are the official organisers of the Rainbow Day extravaganza. The South Australian non-for-profit organisation was founded in honour of baby Harrison Norris who died suddenly in November 2013. Since then, the Walk With Wings team have been doing fantastic local work to support and assist those who have lost young loved ones.
Coming along to Rainbow Day will not only be an amusing day at the beach, it will also be supporting of the Walk With Wings foundation. This is an ideal opportunity to make friends with the community of families in South Australia. The entire event is free for all ages.
