Celebrity Fashion Icons open their Wardrobes to the Public
Raid My Wardrobe was founded by local Newcastle mum of two Rachel Prest back in 2010 as a way to clear her wardrobe and re-invent herself. The upcoming event will see local fashion designer Linda Bergskas, local fashion stylist Kristy Pryjma, and former fashion editor for Harpers Baazar, New Woman and Girlfriend magazines Joanna Kelly opening their wardrobes to the public and selling off their treasured fashion pieces
Raid My Wardrobe is the go to event for all things fashion. "Newcastle's fashion hoarders have the perfect 'upmarket' event where they can off load their gorgeous fashion and no-one is shy when it comes to wearing someone else's clothes," said Ms Prest.
Raid My Wardrobe – Quality Preloved Fashion Event is Newcastle's only indoor women's recycled fashion event. Bring a friend and grab some bargains - 45 stalls full of hundreds of high quality recycled women's clothing, shoes, handbags and accessories for bargain prices, everything from International high end designers like Gucci, Saint Laurent, Armani to Australian designers like Alice McCall, Sass & Bide, Alannah Hill, Zimmermann to high street fashions like Saba, Cue, Bardot.
We attract so many different and varied women who apply to have a stall to sell their wardrobe at RMW. "It's a fantastic melting pot of styles, brands, tastes and eras, an event we are very proud to continue to offer the beautiful women of the Hunter Region, year after year. It's sustainable and so much fun all at the same time," said Ms Prest
There is something for everyone with lots of lucky door prizes to be won. Coffee and refreshments are available for purchase. Free parking. Cash sales only - no ATMs. Change rooms available.
Step inside the wardrobe of another and spend a few hours raiding their preloved wares. It's a great day out; shopping locally, saving money and living more sustainably.
