Radisson Hotel & Suites Sydney provides top notch facilities that you would come to expect from the Radisson brand, and also for a four and a half star hotel. This warm and friendly boutique hotel opened its doors to leisure and business travellers back in January 1998.

The whole experience of staying at this hotel made way for a fantastic and spacious home away from home. The checking in and checking out process with Anya was really pleasant. I stayed in room 712. My room was spacious and came with a kitchenette and a balcony that provided some simple but great views of the city, leaning out onto Sussex and Liverpool Streets.

The hotel is just as suitable for locals living here in Sydney, as it is to international travellers and interstate weekenders. The range of accommodation packages, including a romantic high tea package, is sure to delight. How do I know? I experienced the high tea menu myself with a friend recently. The fruity friands, petite sandwiches and the scones (with jam and cream) were just delightful. That with a cup of tea or coffee and you're in leisure paradise. You can choose anyone to go with. High tea can either be enjoyed at the One on 1 Bar, and/or if you're a guest at this hotel, you can enjoy the experience in your room. Only $40 with tea or coffee covers both you and the person you wish to enjoy this experience with, or just an extra $15 with bubbly in tow. The hotels High Tea Getaway package is available from now until the 8th of August 2013. The high tea menu also includes petit fours, tarts and fresh strawberries.

I loved the ample space in my room. The bedding was a generous king size. The decor blends in nicely with the homely feel of this hotel. felt more like a serviced apartment with cheaper room rates and 24 hour room service. If you need some cooking utensils to cook in the kitchen, this can easily be arranged with housekeeping. The bathroom was also spacious, and the mirrors with the sea theme are just classy. It is great to also sit down on a funky stool and apply your make up or cleanse your face with ample space. This ample space (away from the basin) is also just as stunning for the men to shave away in the bathroom.

I was also fortunate to enjoy the hotels in-room dining menu from One on 1 Brasserie. The club sandwich with gluten free bread and beer battered chips ($16.50 plus $3 room service charge) was filling and flavoursome. The chips came sprinkled with some herbs and ample tomato dipping sauce. Well cooked, crispy and chunky. The bacon, chicken and egg pieces blended in beautifully with the gluten free bread. I received amazing service from the hotels Food and Beverage Supervisor, Adam - yet again, he had served me with High Tea earlier in the day. My meal arrived to my room five minutes before expectation.

The business centre facility on the third floor provides fast internet connection, and complimentary wireless Internet access is also included as a guest at this hotel. The fitness centre was popular, and so was the sauna, pool and jacuzzi. When swimming backstroke in the stunning pool, dazzling lights compliment what is already tasteful decor. The jacuzzi area is small yet provides serenity and calm.

I was also fortunate to have had the opportunity to enjoy a buffet breakfast ($25) at One on 1 Brasserie. The hot items were served at the right temperature. Regardless as to whether you prefer the pork or the chicken chipolatas, they're both just as flavoursome and hearty. The scrambled eggs were surprisingly good. The staff always acknowledged your arrival and departure come breakfast time. The brasserie is a great way to unwind. Complimentary newspapers are also available.

The hotel lobby brings that welcoming feel and is always calm. I was (and still am surprised) with the quick and fuss free checking in and checking out process at this hotel.

The location of is also perfect. The hotel is only a blocks walk to Darling Harbour where you have the Chinese Gardens, The Sydney Entertainment Centre and Darling Quarter within close reach. For business travellers, you're not too far away from the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre either. The hotel is conveniently located right along the Spanish Quarter with quality restaurants nearby. The hotel is not too far away from World Square and Event Cinemas in nearby George Street either. The best of Sydney is within easy reach with the hotel also being situated right near Chinatown and Sydney City's only factory outlet, Market City with Paddy's Markets.

Impressive and superior service from the front desk to food and beverage and even housekeeping at . The experience was classy and amazing. It was difficult to shut the door of my hotel room prior to checking out on this occasion.
