How does a challenging, rolling, camping holiday sound? If it sounds like your kind of thing, this year's RACV Great Victorian Bike Ride 2017 is for you. The race kicks off for the first time from Tidal River, within the stunning Wilsons Promontory National Park on Saturday 25 November and runs to Sunday 4 December 2017. Music from local bands and the on-site Spokes Bar will get the fun underway with an afternoon of live acoustic sets.
The RACV Great Vic is much more than just a bike ride. After each day exploring the beautiful Victorian countryside on two wheels, you'll be able to relax and enjoy some live music, craft beer, food trucks, an outdoor cinema and local tours at each of the stops.
There are 3 options for the ride to choose from: 1. 25 Nov 2017 - 3 Dec 2017 - The full nine day 540km ride starting in Wilsons Promontory, is a great way to see Gippsland. 90 Mile Beach is a highlight, with the shoreline stretching as far as the eye can see. Inland there's more stunning panoramas, including Lake Glenmaggie. Don't forget your camera. Priced from $939 (Includes all meals), you can enter here.
2. 25 Nov 2017 - 29 Nov 2017 - The five day 328km ride also starting from Wilsons Promontory and from there you will head towards the famous 90 Mile Beach, a stone's throw away from the Seaspray campsite. Priced from $739 (Includes all meals), you can enter here.
3. 30 Nov 2017 - 3 Dec 2017 - The three day 211km ride starts in Bairnsdale and leads you through the rolling hills as you pass through the foothills of the Great Dividing Range. Prices start from $559 (Includes all meals), you can enter here.
The RACV Great Victorian Bike Ride is a fully supported adventure, that includes meals, transport of your luggage, a licensed café and restaurant, a full medical team, massage facilities, entertainment and bicycle maintenance.
