Fun for kids @ Racecourse Rd Carnival

In 2011, Racecourse Rd Carnival won the Air Horse World Record - with an impressive 189 people pretending to "ride" a horse, as part of Brisbane Winter Racing Carnival and Queensland Week. This year, they intend to smash the record and need your help.

Sirromet Long Lunch

Racecourse Road Carnival transforms stylish Racecourse Road into a celebration of Brisbane's world class food and wine. Apart from attempting to break the Air Horse World Record, The Sirromet Long Lunch is a festival highlight. Beginning with cocktails and canapes, 250 people will sit at one long table to enjoy a gourmet lunch with Sirromet Wines to match.

Entertainment @ Racecourse Rd Carnival

You don't have to join the long lunch to have a feast - throughout the day, exotic entertainment will keep everyone dancing and smiling. Three music stages will offer jazz, latin and pop, including Internationally acclaimed jazz vocalist, Ingrid James. Rockabilly dancers and colourful street performers will add to the fun and excitement. St Augustine's Church will host the Parish Picnic with an animal petting corner for the kids.
