On Sunday 17th April 2016, the Shire of Kalamunda is inviting budding adventurers aged 12 to 25 years* to enjoy an 'Amazing Race' style adventure around Kalamunda's very own History Village.

This exciting event is being held as part of National Youth Week Event and is entitled 'The Race Through History'.

Between 11am and 1pm, competitors will work in teams of 3 or 4 members and will have 45 minutes to race around the Village answering questions, completing challenges and getting involved in practical activities that all relate to the local history of Kalamunda.

Once the race is complete, participants will be rewarded with a free sausage sizzle, free craft activities and live music performed by local youth musicians.

The scores will then be tallied and prizes will be awarded with a HUGE prize for the winning team!

Head to for more information and to register your interest.

*Please note anyone outside of this age can still participate, but will not be eligible for the prize.
