Race Of The Harridan, otherwise known as ROTH, refer to themselves as "Brisbane Rock Brisbane Roll".

Race Of The Harridan (aka ROTH) perform at Blues Rock Riot

A four-piece outfit, I saw Race Of The Harridan perform in the second Blues, Rock, Riot at X & Y Bar. One of the more fun tunes they played at the gig was called "Mexican Drinking Song". Good old fashioned rock'n'roll is what ROTH bring, and I had seen them perform once before, back in February, and picked up their EP From Where The Hits Are Born on the night, so I've enjoyed listening to its four tracks. So although I was happy they played the track Melanie, I was disappointed I didn't get to hear (Gonna) Wind Up live this time around.

Like them on Facebook here, and check out their website here for more info about upcoming gigs.
