The RAAF Amberley Aviation Heritage Centre is having an Open Day from 9am till 3pm on Sunday 21 February. The Heritage Centre opened in 2011 and is housed in four hangars.
Amazingly, entry is free to see this fantastic collection of restored aircraft and other fascinating displays.

As well as aircraft, you'll see WW2 land vehicles, weapons, medals and even a special model and display of the hospital ship Centaur, sunk by a Japanese submarine off the coast of Queensland on 14 May 1943.
After viewing the collection, you can browse the well-stocked gift shop, which includes aircraft models, books, t-shirts and more. Buying a souvenir or making a donation helps to keep the centre going.
For history lovers, military aviation buffs and families, The RAAF Amberley Aviation Heritage Centre is a South-East Queensland must-see.
