R U OK? Conversation Convoy 2018

In 2018, the R U OK? Conversation Convoy will be returning once again to raise awareness and assist people in developing the skills to start a conversation with people around them who may be struggling.

The convoy will travel 14,000kms across Australia over a 6 week period, and will be making 26 stops, with free community events scheduled at each location.

First Stop - Geelong, VIC
The first event will take place in Geelong on Monday the 30th of July 2018, from 7:30am-9am at Steampacket Gardens. Everyone is welcome, and there will be a free barbecue, children's activities, ambassador visit plus more.

From there the convoy will travel around the country, with events scheduled in every state and territory.

At each site, there will be a free community event where people of all ages are welcome.

The events run for around 90 minutes each, and include information and activities such as interactive ways to learn the 4 steps to start an R U OK? conversation, ambassador visits, barbecues, kids activities, and more.

The convoy will finish up in Sydney on the 13th of September, which is the official R U OK? Day.

This is a fantastic way to spread awareness, so if you have an event in your area, why not drop in and say hello (and if you're on the road and see a convoy of bright yellow cars, make sure you give them a wave).
