The pedestrian pace slows in the city on Saturdays afternoons. Enough for 'Pavement Drawers' to set up a rather large space outside the QVB Building to sit and draw for hours.

They provide a wonderful visual arts exhibition right at your feet.

These 'Pavement Drawers' are always very talents artists, for whatever reason they choose to draw in public, we have to admire their art.

Large canvases are rolled out and taped to the pavement, then the artist begins to create a masterpiece before your eyes using oil crayons.

When you do stop and see an artist, give a little change for his art so he can purchase more canvas and crayons to draw again another day.

Actually I am the artist in that picture and due to restrictions placed by the city of Sydney council I will no longer be working in Sydney. I am astounded that beggars are given more freedom and rights than professional street artists.
