The
Sisters' Market which has brought craft, fashion, cosmetics, giftware and more to its usual Brunswick and Northcote events is coming to the city for the first time this December.
To be held in QV Square, over forty stallholders will be bringing their wares for your perusal. There's no need to worry about the weather raining out the market, which will be held outside under a marquee.
With an array of irresistible handcrafted goods, even if you attend with the intention of getting some Christmas shopping done, you'll probably leave with plenty of presents for yourself. Stallholders are local craftspeople, so you can feel good about supporting Melbourne's artists as you pay for that miniature
Petite Green mossarium.
Some quirky stalls to look forward to are
Son Valise , maker of JukeCases- portable speakers in vintage luggage; and
Catherine Pilgrim , where you'll find intricately detailed accessories.
More than just a shopping experience, there will also be live music and roving entertainment.
It will be a marathon few days of the market, to be held from the 13th to the 15th of December and again from the the 20th to the 22nd; from midday until 7pm.
There is no entry fee for the Sisters' Market. With an easily accessible location in the city, the area is serviced by tram and train and even has parking (albeit expensive) underneath the QV complex.
