Window shopping is always a favourite past-time, and now many different types of retail shops are thinking outside the square. Anything to lure in new customers and to ensure that passers-by actually stop. Quirky shopfront displays that make you want to stop and think are paramount. Setting up shop (excuse the pun) has never been so fashionable! The most common quirks can be found in window displays in clothes and jewellery stores.
What is the most quirkiest decoration a shop front could have?
Hanging glass plants/flowers is a good one. Some sturdy string would most definitely be required, yet its strikingly good imagery, adding to a great vibe. See through string would be more ideal, yet a thick, study white string works and grabs the eye.
This shop front decorating trend is happening in Melbourne too
Otherwise "on ya bike" has never been so fashionable either. Even just passing by a clothing shop at Sydney Airport, a decorative bike (not one that you'd want to ride) just stood in prominence in a cream colour, yet was a great attention grabber, and albeit rather effective.
Quirky shop displays must be the new marketing for retailers to lure us all in. However, is this quirkiness working? Is it grabbing our attention?
Another quirky shop front display, and at an airport terminal too.
