The QuiltWest Association is a social network for all who are interested in quilting in Western Australia. This all began back in June 1976, when the York Society ran a residential workshop at Faversham House in York on patchwork which the late Penny Whitchurch tutored. From there, they called themselves 'The West Australian Quilters Association'. They would meet once a month with the aim to advance the craft of patch-working and quilting in WA and to the other states, providing information, knowledge as well as sharing the experience of the craft and to showcase through exhibitions.
Between the 23rd and the 27th May 2018, the members of the West Australian Quilters Association will hold their annual exhibition of quilts, in conjunction with Expertise Events, at the Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre
The theme for the exhibition will be 'Architectural'. This event really shows the talent we have here in Western Australia and is a great exhibition to go see and enjoy. Save the date in your calendar and help support to the talented association.
