Readers who are artists, musicians, authors or working with small to medium arts organisations across all disciplines can get a free leg up from the City of Melbourne. It is offering Quick Response Arts Grants which will help fund projects that can be delivered quickly for the benefit of city residents and visitors.

Lord Mayor Sally Capp shared that artists contributed around A$31 billion a year to Victoria's economy. Furthermore, this creative sector contributes significantly to what makes Melbourne unique. This Quick Response Arts Grants is part of the funding program to help a sector affected by ongoing restrictions and support artists to continue to bring their ideas to life

This Grants supports all forms of art, whether it's a performance, exhibition, installation or workshop. You can access up to $4000 for your project or idea to be delivered in the City of Melbourne.

Applications are open to all artists living and working outside the municipality and must be received before 5pm on Wednesday 13 October. Visit the website for more details and forms.
